Hon. Fred Outa's Profile

Born on December 12, 1964, Fred begun his life from a humble background having lost his mother while only 3 years old. The inevitable struck again when he lost his father while in his 8th grade. This put Mr. Outa in an awkward position of an orphaned dependant, forced to fend for himself. This circumstance saw him to the streets as a street boy struggling to make ends meet and having to dig for food from the garbage heaps.

A ray of hope finally begun to dawn for Fred at age 16, when an American couple working with street kids took him, absorbed him into their home, and sent him back to school. He has since then been able to secure three degrees, masters and an ongoing doctorate program. Among his qualifications are:

  • M.A in Intercultural Studies - Biola University, California, USA
  • M.A. Theology/Apologetics from International School of Theology, California, U.S.A
  • B.Sc., Health Management -The City University of New York, York College, U.S.A
  • Certificate, Strategic Management - Penny Saver Management Consultancy (Nairobi – Kenya)
  • Certificate - Christian Ministry - Daystar University (Nairobi – Kenya)
  • Diploma, Christian Leadership - Life Ministry Training Institute (Nairobi, Kenya)
  • Kenya Certificate of Education - New Kisumu High School, Kisumu, Kenya

Having seen and experienced a lot, Outa Fred returned home from oversees to be a blessing to the vulnerable of his community. Now a missionary and an agriculturalist, Outa initiated several projects to help his people, but was frustrated by the then authority to an extent of loosing millions of shillings. It is at this point that he resolved to vie for a seat that would empower him to fully embark on the development projects for his community.

Hon. Outa is happily married to Rosemary with whom they have devoted their lives to serving his people.

Among the projects he has so far initiated are:

  1. The revival of irrigation that had initially collapsed.
  2. Building of orphanages
  3. Outa widows that caters for the needs of the widows in Nyando
  4. Attending to the aged and eye surgery
  5. Sinking of boreholes etc.
