Parents and the community in Nyando, Nyakach and Muhoroni districts have been warned against the habit of harassing, blocking and demonstrating against school heads demanding replacements for poor results, a move that might completely paralyze learning in most primary schools.

The warning comes barely a day after parents and communities of Ragen secondary school in lower Nyakach division, Achuodho and Kigoche primary schools in Miwani division and Apondo in Nyando division demonstrated and sent packing their school heads citing mismanagement, poor KCPE results, absenteeism and sidelining school management committees in running school affairs.

Speaking to education stakeholders at ahero multipurpose hall, secretary of Nyando district residents association mr. Jason ges kotolo however called on the community to find better ways of resolving school disputes instead of using force.
